Bickley Park Cricket Club was founded on Thursday 27th February 1868. The ground was supplied by a Mr. George Wythes, of Bickley Hall, and Bickley played its first game, on July 11th of that year. Few records remain of games played in the early years, although an excellent booklet covering the history of Bickley Park Cricket club was produced for the clubs 125 years celebrations,

The club has come a long way from then, having played in the South Thames League until 1996 and now has both first and second elevens playing in their respective first divisions of the Shephed Neame Kent league. The third and fourth elevens play in the Kent Cricket League Feeder West Divisions 1a and 2a respectively, while at the height of the season a fifth team play five of six fixtures. Sunday fixtures are mostly friendly games, however the club does play in the top division of the Aero Sunday Developement League as well as entering the London Evening Standard knock-out competition and the National Cup Contest.
