Welcome to Bickley Park Cricket Club

If 2008 was a great year for Bickley Park, then how would you describe 2009?
Following on from the 1st and 2nd XI’s both winning to their respective 1st divisions in 2008, the 2nd XI have gone one better and captured the 2nd XI premiership. The 1st XI came in a more than respectable 4th.
Probably the cherry of the cake though is the 3rd XI, who having won their division in the Kent Feeder League are now promoted in the Kent Cricket League. With the 4th XI also finishing 3rd in their division it has to be said, it hasn’t been a bad season.

We are already planning and preparing for the 2010 season and if you are interested in joining a great cricket club, for league cricket or friendlies please contact us.

Bickley Park welcomes new and experienced players

  • Indoor Training over the winter

  • Saturday League Cricket for 4 XI's

  • Sunday League Cricket in Kent Development League

  • Sunday Friendly 2nd XI matches

  • Summer Nets

  • Junior Cricket for 7 - 16 year olds

Bickley Park Cricket Club was founded on Thursday 27th February 1868.  The ground was supplied by a Mr. George Wythes, of Bickley Hall, and Bickley played its first game, on July 11th of that year. Few records remain of games played in the early years, although an excellent booklet covering the history of Bickley Park Cricket club was produced for the clubs 125 years celebrations, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The club has come a long way from then, having played in the South Thames League until 1996 and now has both first and second elevens playing in their respective first divisions of the Shephed Neame Kent league. The third and fourth elevens play in the Kent Cricket League Feeder West Divisions 1a and 2a respectively, while at the height of the season a fifth team play five of six fixtures.  Sunday fixtures are mostly friendly games, however the club does play in the top division of the Aero Sunday Developement League as well as entering the London Evening Standard knock-out competition and the National Cup Contest. The following web pages aim to provide useful information on the various facilities, teams and social events which take place at the club throughout the year.I
