Wickham Park CC – 2nd XI vs Bickley Park CC – 3rd XI

After a solid win last week Bickley again had a last minute selection issues and this week Barry had reserved a call from Eddie Jones and was on the plane to South Africa to make his test Debut and enter young keeper again Finn the new star of the show. The team had taken a hit with playing only with 10 Sunny got a back injury and with players been pulled to 2s he had no option but to make up the team so 10 of Bickley’s finest took to the field. The captain for the day was Simon Davis, won the toss and decided to bowl and this was by far the best part of the game for Bickley park, great opening spell for Simon and one of the Chug’s backed up by Kamal and the spin of the other Bhagat. Finn keeper wicket very well and showed how able of a keeper he is despite the lack of shade he though and Wickham scored .Tea was okay 7/10. The batting performance was let’s say one to forget, with most of us not giving the scorers much to worry about. Finn however did not catch whatever the rest of us had and got a very well deserved 24 and I’m sure he’ll getting many more after his 13th birthday, we are still waiting for the invite to pizza express and the movies.
